DESCRIPTION:The Women’s Resource Center (WRC) opened on the UBC Okanagan campus in 2003 and continues to provide services to students through the SUO. All services offered by the WRC are paraprofessionals\, however\, the WRC provides a safe place on campus for women and those who identify as female\, to come to find a supportive environment and connections to other resources on and off-campus. The WRC annually initiates many events\, campaigns\, and fundraisers all in an effort to better the lives of women primarily on campus\, while maintaining connections to the local\, national and international scale. \nLocation: The UNC Resource Center (UNC 132)

SUMMARY:Wellness Booth and Bracelet Making
DESCRIPTION:This event will include a wellness booth that advertises the PCU and its services such as tutoring and review sessions. This will help students in preparation for final exams. We will also hand out stickers and cards with wellness tips on them\, and contact information for our services\, and other relevant mental health service on campus. The booth will be accompanied by bracelet making\, which will allow students to get a break from studying and spend time with peers while making bracelets. The booth is targeted towards people taking psychology courses while the bracelet-making will be for anyone needing a break or social connection. \n  \nLocation: FIP 121
