SUMMARY:Pre-Law Society Annual Mock Trial
DESCRIPTION:The SUO Pre-Law Society is pleased to host its annual Mock Trial event this semester. We have two exciting cases that teams of interested students will argue. These will be judged by presentation\, performance\, and effectiveness at persuasion. An information session will proceed with this event for interested students to help prepare them for their presentation and help organize them into teams. Participants will be able to book their presentation time slot between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm on March 23rd to present. The cases to be argued and presented are a Civil Law court case involving charges of negligence and an international criminal court case on the accused standing on charges of recruitment and conscription of child soldiers into armed groups under the Rome statute on the International Criminal Court.
