Summer U-PASS opt-in

UBC Okanagan students are automatically assessed U-PASS fee in the Fall semesters only.

Kindly note the Students’ Union can only review U-PASS opt-out requests for the current academic year. There is a deadline in September each year, as well as U-PASS opt-out requests must be submitted annually.

Summer U-PASS fee is available for registered UBC Okanagan students (in the last January semester, or in either summer semester).

The cost is $63.00 (same as in the Fall), and it is available for purchase at the paper & supply co. during summer hours. You must bring your valid Student ID card with you at time of purchase.

Alternatives for Faculty, Staff and non-UBC Okanagan students are a sheet of ten (10) bus tickets, a day pass, or a calendar monthly adult bus pass. These transit options are also available for purchase from paper & supply co. year round.

UBC Faculty and Staff PROPass Program
As a UBCO employee, you are eligible to enrol in the ProPASS Program to receive a reduced cost on adult monthly bus passes. Enrol online or through Parking Services for a minimum of one four-month Pass Period.
