Interdisciplinary Graduate Student Conference

Announcing a student conference opportunity on May 2– May 32024 themed An Interdisciplinarian’s Toolbox: Emerging Practices and Methodologies for Crossing Disciplinary Boundaries. Taking place on the UBC Okanagan Campus in Kelowna, BC on Syilx Territory, this conference invites 5-minute student presentations centered on thesis work or research at any stage that can be explored through an interdisciplinary lens. 

 

Undergraduate and graduate students from across Western Canada are encouraged to submit their work. A Call For Proposals is open until January 19, 2024, and event registration will open March 11, 2024. 

 

This conference will include:

  • A keynote speaker address by Dr. Yelena Gluzman (UofA);
  • Student research and panel presentations;
  • Professional and casual networking opportunities;
  • Morning fireside talks; and
  • Coffee, snacks, and a catered lunch.
