2011-2012 Management Students Association fee Referendum Question

In the SUO 2011/2012 by-election, held in March/April 2012, Faculty of Management students at UBC Okanagan were asked to vote on the referendum question. The following question was brought forward to the Students’ Union by students with a signed petition of 10% of the student body, reviewed by the Chief Returning Officer, and approved by the Board of Directors.

Effective for 2011/12 academic year, starting in September 2012.

The ballot reads as follows:

____Yes, I am in favour of increasing the mandatory fee for all students registered in the Management Program at the University of British Columbia Okanagan to be allocated to the Management Students Association, from $25.42 per term to $50.42 per term per student.

____No, I am not in favour of increasing the mandatory fee for all students registered in the Management Program at the University of British Columbia Okanagan to be allocated to the Management Students Association, from $25.42 per term to $50.42 per term per student.
